This is the worst matchup for Nick!
Usually the case for most people when they take on the best player in the world

Don't mind who wins but Kyrios has to back it up in US open otherwise it shows he only cares about prize money and 1 good prize money win a year is enough for him to not give a s**t otherwise
Still remember that time you talked up Tennys Sandgren only to see him crumble from 2 sets to 0 up vs the GOAT at the Aus open a few years ago lolI shall, nothing will please me more than to see Nick get thrashed by another severely irritating player![]()
Ok. Let's talk tennis. I was just replying to a post.
I think Kyrgios is a definate chance.
He's probably in the top few grass courters in the world , he has the better serve, he has a killer drop shot. He beat Djoker twice in their only matches both hardcourt.
Djokovic has the complete game, the experience, and will never give up and wants this win badly. His return of serve is best in the world and this will be crucial in this match.
If Kyrgios doesn't choke , and he wins the first set, I think he can win.
Kyrgios 6/4, 7/6, 6/7, 1/6, 7/6

A bloke he’s never lost to?
Odd logic that

Well if he can beat Djokovic in final today why can't he beat him or Nadal in 2nd rd in US open?US hard courts season is crucial for him. Needs to be seeded going into the US. Whilst it’s possible not being seeded makes it so much harder
I think so, it could be an epicLate night then.
I’m still not sure how you decide that Novak, who has never beaten him, is the worst possible match up. Roger or Rafa surely worse for him. Plus Nick has a better 5 set record than most players.3 sets is not 5 set tennis huge difference

Not really he leads the H2H 2-0This is the worst matchup for Nick!

I’d wager that anyone with a positive win loss (or even an even win loss) record would be a worse match up.
