I hope he gets chosen, hes a great player and could be good for a side nearing a premiership
Didn't do us much good when we were a game off a premiership. Didn't help Melbourne win a premiership in 2000.

I knew it was very very harsh to let go someone who got heavily abused just because he achieved something so big, the Brownlow Medal.

As harsh it was for us letting him go, in some sense it may have been right to do if we were looking into the future. What really suprised me was the fact that no clubs re-drafted him, and then the Mark Powell incident gave him shattering news.

Great season in the WAFL, and wouldn't be suprised if he was picked up, considering what happened at North late 2005.

Wasn't that the reason we got rid of him, because he was a soft spot! :p

His role in the side wasn't to be the tough man. He laid a few bumps in his time, but was exposed, as was his speed and skills. However, he had a passion to play, something too many people lack these days!

Maybe if he puts in a realistic salary figure he might get picked up. He was being overpaid, a good mid level player getting paid top level dollars. Perhaps the year in the wilderness has brought him back to earth.

Lol he said he would play for minumum wage if someone were to take him on ... and still no clubs did - shame on 16 coaches imo.

WOULDNT MIND COLLINGWOOD GOING AFTER HIM IN 2007... sounds silly but with the retirement of caracella and a few others gone his experience in the midfield could be useful especially if we draft another midfielder in exchange for taz... could strengthen our midfield in 2007.

I agree, the fact that we picked up some ****er Jeremy Humm, when we could have had Woewodin who wouldve played for probably even cheaper.

Plus, people dont realise he had very good games with sides that were dominant, Melbourne in 2000 won a brownlow, and in one of the years where the Pies got into the Granny, he came second in their B&F.

Very unluckey to be delisted in the first place IMO.

AFL football passed Woewodin by. I don't care how good a season he had in the WAFL, the fact is that he is too slow and his skills aren't strong enough to still be a solid contributor at AFL level.

Don't like to disagree with the bretheren, but come on, Woewodein? The guy had the general awareness of my grandmother, who has long since passed away. I have never seen anyone who thought they had so much time, cruising along without a care in the world, only to be mowed down like a...... no, I won't go there. And for someone with supposed foot skills..... BLOODY HELL (bad memories flooding back). I can't remember ever being more frustrated with any player in my time being a Pies supporter. Give it up Woey.
