It is fantastic.
The problem being them taking the next step.
Golf is not a cheap sport to play, especially if parents are struggling financially.
We provide free junior membership, zero green fees and free use of clubs/balls etc.
If the kids show further interest after this program finishes, we will continue to provide all of the above.
However there will come a time where little Johnny will want his own set of clubs and for Dad to cart him all over the district to play.
So, we have the initial cost and the tyranny of distance.
That is where our District is lobbying Golf Australia for further help.

This will be a 3 way shootout tomorow between Molinari, Tiger and Koepka. Francesco is playing some seriously good golf ATM and if he breaks 70 tomorow he will win. The consistency of Koepka at the majors is amazing. Turning himself into the best big time player in the game.
