If Mark Austin had played another 6 games he too would be part of the discussion.

Lukas Markovic another one (boy did he get fat after retirement).

So many blokes on our previous lists were just the tiniest bit away from being good enough to be considered the worst AFL player.

I don't think if ever even played a game but the worst player to ever be on an AFL list surely has to be Cameron Croad.

I remember him in junior footy and he was so unbelievably bad.

Yet year after year he'd be making rep squads and TAC squads.

You've never seen somebody go so far on the strength of a name.

He played for a local park junior team and was terrible. I remember watching him in a TAC Cup game, you've never seen somebody so out of place. Looked like he'd just woken up from a coma and found himself on a footy ground.

And then he got drafted!

Was on the Carlton list in 2003 and 2004 and didn't even look like getting a game.

Yeah very meh. I didn't nominate him for the thread, just couldn't believe he played 150. You honestly don't ever notice he is playing. In the one in 10 games he kicks a goal it's like "Oh is McKay playing today?"
