Worst afl player you've seen (and why)

David Mackay (the Adelaide Crows version) - Soft, no apparent skills. Special mention for getting to 150 games somehow.

He didn't get to 50 games but I've never seen anyone look so lost on a football field as I did Ayce Cordy.

Brent Reilly had one really good season in 2012 which saves him, and I wouldn't wish the way his career ended on anyone, but...see David Mackay, plus the endless turnovers that plagued a lot of his career.

He ended as a potato but he started off pretty well.

Daniel Schell or Dan Parker.

Schell made Warren Ralph look like Michael Voss in the bravery stakes.

I just found his name quite funny.. Simon Eishold. Its great. So figured I'd take a punt. I can't even remember him playing though

Just remember that shank from 15m out on an angle in the 1987 Prelim. Don't remember him being that bad a player overall though.

If this guy had played 3 more games you could close the thread right now. Still to this day the only player I've actively demanded never play another game. I'm the most lenient bloke when it comes to giving players time to develop but this guy...

From what ever memory i had of him i think he was ok.. i just love the name 'Simon Eishold'.. its a great name.

I'll say this. In the history of this great game, there has never been, nor will there ever be a more putrid triple premiership winner than Bradley Hill.

So many great players and legends end their careers with nothing. Then this lucky jib shows up and takes the lot.

Extremely harsh comment. Agree he has had a disappointing year to date but has never let us down on the big stage at the end of the year.

Zac Clarke has to be the worst footballer on any current AFL list. Is symbolic of everything wrong down at dockerland.

Tom Swift... Completely out of his depth at AFL level. Terrible disposal by hand or foot, panicked every time a defender came within 5 metres of him resulting in a hospital pass for a team mate, and always had a overawed expression on his face..
Even the Eagles supporters laughed at the poor guy...

The thing with Schell was he dominated SANFL level at times..
Just couldnt do anything in the big leagues.

Simon Taylor, nicked named 'useless' by many Hawthorn supporters.

Taylor was very unlucky to miss finals in 08. Had a very good run with form leading up to September then
dropped for that spud Renouf.

Worst Hawks player ever seen was Johnny Hassal. Although he was a Pie originally he did play for us. Massive spud.

My ol mate Tom Murphy used to cop a frightful hiding on the Hawks board. Very limited player but had the heart of an elephant so not sure he belongs.

Murphy got stuck playing as a key back because we had no one else to take the key forwards, size wise he wasn't even remotely up to it against the bigger bodies, he was a limited player but could do some good things when freed up, I wouldn't have him in this thread, I could think of some other Hawks over the journey that would be worthy of a spot on here
