Could have been worse - they could have sent Tim Lane and Robert Walls over for a bit more Carlton loving.

On second thoughts, it would have sounded the same, only a bit less squeaky than Christian and Hudson. Those two were flat out barracking for Carlton, and would have been in the circle leading the club song had they got up.

Not as bad as Don Scott or Ian Robertson in days of yore though.

Yeah, same here. How awesome was it to see (and hear) the crowd really fire up? The most exciting game of the year apart from the round 3 showdown which is the most exciting game that I've ever attended. Very proud of the boys

The crowd were great today, was the best atmosphere I have felt this year. (missed the first showdown)

Glad I didn't have to listen to the commentary, sometimes I simply can't bear it and fire up the always faithful 5AA

Seriously, if you haven't seen the game on TV, watch it, just to be amazed at how horrendous the commentary was. The last quarter was sickening, Judd lifting the troops, they're trying to get it in Judd's hands, Judd inspired, Judd has kept on running, ect ect. Was disgraceful.

Yeah, there is a love affair with Chris Dudd, hes good, but nowhere near as good as people have been making him out to be, both now and in the past. He was very lucky to be in a team where he had 2 other top class midfielders and good midfield depth made up of players that would make space for him and shepard for him. He was made to look better than he is, don't get me wrong, I'd love to have him at the Crows, but that would require paying more than he is worth.

Judd got about 3 touches of his 15 in about 6 minutes and they lost their shit. That said they did all lead to Carlton goals.

Michael Christian was shitting me the most, for god's sake he wouldn't let the fev trip go, he was still talking about it in the last quarter. Riveting stuff

Have to agree..Michael Christian especially was sickening...his commentary is about as good as his former footballing skills....and that was bloody hopeless!! Doesn't Channel 10 shit you off with that five minute shotgun crap!!! FFS show the clock!!!

Usually poor/biased commentary doesn't bother me but it was unbelievable tonight. The entire last quarter, even part of the third quarter, was this big "Carlton are going to come back and win the game!!" fest, and they were screaming about Judd that entire last quarter - the only benefit of that was that they stopped talking about Fev as much. Judd had a couple of good clearances but otherwise was unseen. At one stage the commentary said that "Judd is going to win this centre clearance", a Crows player won it, kicked it out cleanly and they exclaimed "AND JUDD ALMOST GETS THE SPOIL!!". He was nowhere near it.


Not the worst ever but it was pretty damn bad. Even Blighty was getting irritating by constantly droning on about that Fevola tripping over after a free incident (which admittedly was a terrible non-decision).

I'm pretty sure they were actually too busy talking about Judd at the time to mention Judd.

The thing that shit me the most was the opening video segment when it was a cursory look at Adelaide and then all this Carlton this that and the other. Seriously thought there was only one team playing today according to the commentary.
