Springvale Rd before Eastlink and before they sunk the railway was hell on earth.
The old five ways many years ago..its a doddle now compared to then.
Nepean Hwy through Frankston to anywhere on the Peninsula before Peninsula Link.

Bunbury's way ahead of you

That's horrific.

My main bugbear is the Oaklands crossing intersection, where Morphett Rd and Diagonal Rd intersect. Is such a poorly designed intersection.

Yep ... thats a shocker and in peak hour trains seem to arrive continually

There is a T junction up at Redlynch, just north of Cairns, it used to be that the person on the part of it that terminated had the right of way.

Hobart's Railway Roundabout seems to mess with people, but I find it pretty simple. Saw a stat that there were 936 car accidents in the 10 years to 2015 on it

That's my child hood!
Loved that KFC on the left in the early 90s... could smell it all the way from the top of Hull Rd as I "skateboarded" (really just straddling the board as I couldn't ride for crap on it) all the way down while burning a whole in my sneaker as I dangled my foot off the skateboard to use as as "brake"

I worked in Rome, Italy for six months doing field work, so had to drive around the city every day. The mixture of a 2000+ year old city and 21st century traffic makes for some ridiculous intersections. Below is just one example:

My personal favourite was an exit from the city through a gate in the old walls. It had eight roads converging into a single piazza (open space, no roundabout). The only rule was 'give way to the right', so cars would just speed through the open space dodging and weaving through each other. How I never got sideswiped driving through there I'll never know.

A local one for me, not too bad now that I'm used to it but coming off the tulla freeway onto bulla road and navigating the the initial roundabout (linc pub) then the roundabout at the royal pub (essendon station) only to find you were in the wrong lane and need to merge at the junction in mooned ponds. I know of people that purposely avoid these roundabouts.

Local to me, is a shocker.

Turning right from Lincoln Road into Mount Alexander Road is enough to take years off your life, even more so when there's a tram in the vicinity.

had a mate who used to work at the linc. would go to visit them and have a few beers. wouldnt be strange to see 5-6 accidents at least. having the tram go through there seems absolutely absurd without lights

Trying to find the Bulla Rd exit from the Calder Hwy is annoying enough to begin with, it's too far before the overpass. To avoid the Essendon Junction roundabout from the Tulla, I use Mascoma St in Strathmore, it takes me from Westfield to Pacco Rd pretty quickly.
I live about 100m from Moonee Ponds Junction, the amount of traffic lights that have appeared in the last 10 years or so in that space between the Junction at the park is ridiculous. Stopping every 20m

They've got the lights after the aroundabout heading north. Next to the Asian Restaurant. It's a nightmare being caught at it, as cars are looking to enter the roundabout and trams passing behind you.

I'm undecided which Essendon junction is worse- Fletcher Street or Lincoln Road. I'm thinking Lincoln by a nose, but it's a close run thing. They're both terrible.
