Only if Pavlich lives up to the hype...and lets face it the potential is there but he hasnt fulfilled the 'hype' yet and he may never do so...only time will tell.
Kenny has taken a lot of sh@t so far in his career...I admire the fact it hasnt broken him down and he has found his football calling.

First and foremost, what's with all these personal attacks? Learn to relax and respect the opinion of others - especially here - or your time on BigFooty will be short. That's a given. Seeing as you're relatively new here I won't bother to go head to head with you on this... especially over an issue as trifling and pointless as David Gallagher, even though he is relevant to the thread at hand.
Ignoring your mixture of high-brow and low-brow insults I can only tell you I have been following the game since I was a youngster in 1986, have followed the Crows since day one and have been a fully paid up member since 1996 after acquiring semi-regular access to a season ticket in 1995.
Thus I have seen many Crows sides, both good and bad, under all four coaches in our club's short history - hence I am more than qualified to give my opinions on anything pertaining to the club, not that I have to justify the strength of my support or knowledge to the likes of you, but hey, I'm bored and I promised I wouldn't rip you back so this will have to do.
In regards to the time-honoured and quaint "do you play?" line of questioning that is periodically aimed by all those who have a holier-than-thou viewpoint about the game at those they disagree with - no I don't and no I haven't. I suppose Jason Dunstall would go as far to call me "duckegg."
Big deal.
A question to you. Under your logic and reasoning, what happens if Michael Voss and Dermott Brereton disagree about the ability of Player X? Does Voss' opinion count more because he has a Brownlow? Or does Dermie win out because he has played in more Premierships? And do their opinions count more than a Marco Bello who has never played at AFL level?
It's weak and pointless "my Johncock is bigger than your Johncock" reasoning.

I guess he wasnt (I cant remember), otherwise he wouldnt have stayed on the list until the end of 1997...He was one of the last originals to go if my memory is correct.

This is a bloody wives tale that is wrong. Yes Pavlich was in this draft but the Crows still could have taken Pavlich in the Rookie Draft AFTER the National Draft that Kenny was selected in. It would be very interesting to see who we picked up in this Rookie Draft, I bet one of them was that waste of time Cicollela
I doubt that. I suspect Pavlich was too young to go on the rookie list. If he was eligible, we surely would've taken him since we almost took him in the national draft.
I don't think Cica came via the rookie list either.
I think Mattner is a pretty crap tagger but not a crap footy player. Ayres has tried to force him to become a tagger but the role just doesn't suit him. I have seen him run circles around teams in the SANFL while playing on the ball. I know AFL is another level but he's never had the chance to play his natural game for the Crows.

I've gotta say I didn't realise when I posted this thread it would cause so much debate. There's been a lot of players mentioned I had completely forgotten about and perhaps these players are best left forgotten

David Gallagher is nowhere near the worst. He started off in 1999 playing pretty good footy and got chosen ahead of Stenglein. Problem is he went backwards from then and in his last year was terrible.
