Just curious as to the worst song you have ever heard in your life. Might be because its got crappy lyrics or because the singer blows or maybe because you just dont like it.

I have a couple of nominations

Macarthur Park - Genuinely this was the first song i ever heard that scared me, my ears were bleeding after hearing this. Quite possibly the most Fu(ked up song i have ever heard in my life.

Korn - Word Up. If you haven't heard this yet then be thankful. I have and i'm still recovering. What were they thinking

The original version of "Word Up" by Cameo is a great tune! Was covered a few years ago by a heavish band (cant remember who) which also sounded pretty cool. But yes, Korn's version is disappointing.

I recently heard one of those annoying, brainless, repetitive euro dance type songs titled "Call on me". That is the entire lyric and it just repeats over and over and is an appaling song.

It does however feature a magnificent film clip. Those who have seen it would understand.

It's such a target rich environment, all I have to do is turn on the radio and I'll get a contender.

But for years I hated Khe Sahn by Cold Chisel. Then I moved on to Freak Me by Silk. Now it's much harder to pick. Anything by Scooter is a good chance of being up there.

Like someone said, the novelty songs- Macarena, Bob the Builders song's (they're for little kids, they've no place on the radio), Ketchup Song, etc.

I agree with all the other songs nominated, and some others that come to mind-
"Behind Blue Eyes"- by Limp Bizkit- Have a whinge..
"True Colours" or whatever it's called by Kasey Chambers. I can't believe they used that song for the rugby. If there was ever a bigger incentive not to watch something, I don't know what it could be.
That "I'm sorry I can't be perfect song". (I don't know the name, or who it is by) No wonder his Dad doesn't like him! That's mean I know, but that song just goes on and on.
