A lil bit harsh there. A richmond supporter giving kudo's to Didak has got to be respect. I have seen a number say "why would we want Didak we have Tambling, Delido and Nathan Brown who can play similar roles"

good stuff - i rate didak massively. a excitement machine - can play forward and be the best small forward in the league - and then be rotated into the midfield and be an A grade midfielder - would take him down at punt road in a heart beat.

you guys need to appreciate the blokes you have got at the moment - they have done a tremendous job - i had you guys as bottom 2 this season (with nth bottom and richmond 3rd bottom) and the way both you and nth have performed is inspirational.

true, but i think if didak did want to go, bein in contract wed ask for something outthere and rightly so given he was all australian last year....either way wed loose because he proved on friday he can match it in the midfield while hurtin the opp on the score board..which has been talked about for a long time but rarely seen..

Cogs has had 2 knee re-co's and o.p before that played about 12 games in 3 years.

- we finished bottom and am not in a prelim this week - we will only get judd through the psd - and that will be only if judd does choose collingwood - and they try and do a nick stevens to west coast about the trade.

Tambling, Jarrad oakley nicholas have not shown any of the quality or proven themselves at richmond like didak has done at collingwood

nor have they indeared themselves to us either - like didak has at collingwood/

i wouldn't trade richo, foley, deledio for judd.

i would not be interested in throwing in raines, thursfield, king, or even pettifer in a trade for judd - as those players have won me over as richmond boys.

cogs situation is unfortunate - but he may well be finished. he is a perth boy -- has been rumoured to want to go home and the club has had to learn to move on without him - ideally i would love for him to stay at the club next year and be the ol cogs - but likely not going to happen

cogs has never even palyed in a finals side for us -let alone been the match winner - again - unlike didak - a week ago

exactly, the players that got us here did it without judd, are young and full of potential, so whos to say they cant do it again...every club wants judd but why would you throw a crop of kids (proven to get the job done) just to see judd in your colours.

Cloke aint goin no where!!!!has played like a gun only twenty and a walk up to take over from rocca in a couple of years, you start to trade players like that and gettin judd proves no advantage....

You make a fair point, but do you honestly think these guys aren't equipped to deal with this sort of thing?
They are AFL players for crying out loud, celebs you could say... I'm sure they are use to being flung around by supporters as tools in a battle to get the best side and win a premiership.

I'm sure they expect all this speculation, and in all honesty they probably love it, being mentioned as worthy enough to be in a trade with the number one AFL player.
But seriously, Didak and these others would know far better then us if they are safe are not... I'm sure they aren't sitting on the edges of their seats wonder if they will still have a career next year.

They would be stupid not to expect the AFL community to go la la over the AFLs best player becoming available... They deal with it, their professionals, their paid well to do so.
If it upsets them that supporters would be willing to overload them for the best player going round, tell em to cry in the corner because it isn't our problem.

They know they are respected, loved and idolised by the true fans and outside of this not much else matters

they are professionals no doubt - but human ones.

if you had the crowd chanting out for you one week, and the next you get a plethora of "supporters" ringing up radio and putting you up for trade - along with a promising kid and a high draft pick - that is barely flattering

i have no doubt either they are idolised - collingwood more than any club are fantastic at that - but it is a bit laughable that they are loved like a son one week - and put up for adoption for a "better son" the next.

you guys should have didak, thomas, pends, cloke, rocca, fraser,h.shaw those fella's names shouldn't be even mentioned once in this trade talk - especially while they are trying to focus on making the grand final for the club and its supporters.

collingwood - don't cream your pants at the sight of judd - you have a great bunch of players together - young ones - with a great attitude to work hard for each other - and the club and you guys - the supporters. i can understand clubs like carlton, melbourne, richmond, essendon getting excited - but you guys have really got a great bunch of people and players with the right attitude and love for the club
