Would you go interstate if drafted?

Ok so there are so many serious threads on here. Let’s have a bit of fun and see where you would or wouldn’t go if drafted.

Ok so if I was going to be drafted the only interviews I’d tank would be for both Sydney clubs. Nothing against the clubs but I find Sydney such a shit hole that I’d could never live there, particularly western Sydney, omg never.

I wouldn’t be happy about Freo drafting me but I’d be able to live in Perth so bonus there.

SA, hmm I don’t have a problem with Adelaide but it’s Adelaide so you know.

Of course Vic yes, I’d have an issue with the Hawks mainly because of where they are located and going to be located. Glad the saints moved back to Moorabbin because Seaford, no just no. Everywhere else no problems but I’d put on a happy face for the camera when drafted and if I didn’t like where I was going I’d be plotting to get out from day 1.

If Carlton , Richmond or Essendon drafted me I would announce my retirement on the night. Other than that.............happy to play anywhere really.

A curious thing I found when I moved to Sydney from Melbourne is that the whole Melbourne - Sydney rivalry thing only goes one way. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anybody in Sydney say a bad word about Melbourne. Why would they? Melbourne is a lovely place for a visit.

As cities they’re apples and oranges ... one of them doesn’t make much sense when you judge it by the standards of the other.

Melbourne is a city that has been diligently crafted by an artisan. Sydney is a city that is organic and more closely follows the lines of nature. Melbourne is orderly. Sydney is chaotic. Melbourne is monochrome. Sydney is colourful.

Unfortunately I don’t live in any other state that Collingwood are based in.
If I did, then yes I would move interstate.

I'd only go if drafted to play in Sydney or Melbourne.

Anywhere else and I'd retire from footy to focus on the Australian Olympic Breakdancing team for Paris 2024.
