You'll note we are playing both Hampson and Kruezer as well as Cloke this weekend. Remember Hampson and Kruezer while extremely talented, are only 18/19 years old, and have played a total of about 12 games between them! Hampson and Kruezer rotate through CHF, and share the 2nd ruck role. Cloke is only 23-24 yo as well. Note how we are actually giving our young rucks experience at AFL level. It's called an investment in the future. A lot different than playing 5, 30+ year old players like the Tiges do. We know our young players have talent, and they thrive on the challenges and support we give them. We are building a brilliant highly talented young team, with the view of bringing home flags 17 and 18. That is our only goal. :)

Richmonds future > daylight > Carltons future
How so?

Carlton have by far the best young talent in the AFL. Richmond have a few good youngsters but arent close to Carlton and won't be half the force the blues will be in 2-3 years,

yes but you could apply the same theory to richmond with richo, they need some guidance in the key positions of the ground.

quite clearly cam cloke is not going to be a part of your future 22 when you should be challenging for a top spot.

i totally understand your reasoning as to why cloke is playing but i disagree with your double standards in saying richmond are not allowed to play someone who will not be part of their future success.

as age is not an issue...richo is 33...cloke is 24...neither will be playing afl in two years and if i put my money on one of them actually playing til 2010 it would be richo.

you see what point im trying to make?

Cam Cloke has talent, and plenty of it.

Was impressive towards the end of his pies career, and has been quite impressive for the blues too.

Pies shipped him off due to his shoulders, but when fit, he's a good player.

Well this thread now shows we should be better than the saints, some how there is talk of Carlton?

Surprised there is not a Carlton vs Richmond poll about the same thing going....

there was a carlton, essendon, richmond poll before the season started.
i think after round 16 it should be started again every team would of played eachother atleast once.

Both Freagles are rabbles this year. Might be time for a merge or relocation. :)

dont ever compare us to fremantle again you hag.

deep inside that thick skull of yours you know that west coast's list is something to build on.

dont ever compare us to fremantl....

Why not? Both are WA regional sides, both are basket cases this year, and most of Freagles supporters support both Freagles i.e. combo supporters. There's just not the talent pool to support 2 WA sides at this level, and brings the standard of the competition down. It's becoming obvious. :)

you're point being? this is coming from a carlton supporter...talking about the standard of the competition being lowered.

There are far better younger talented teams tham Carlton im afriad.

They've cheated and bottomed out in order to get as many priority picks as they can. St Kilda are living proof that this process means nothing.

Richmond, West Coast, Brisbane and even top teams like Geelong, Hawthorn and the Bulldogs all have much better young talent than the Blues. :thumbsu:

This is the most one sided poll I have seen.

Shows how pathetic St,Kilda are.

But what do you expect from a club that has 1 flag and 27 spoons.
