You want to see John Cena in the Wrestlemania main event?

The 'wrestle' part is the key there, and I'm a fan of Randy Orton's but even he leaves a little much to be desired in that department for my liking at this stage. Orton is a far better in-ring performer than Cena, but to be quite honest dude this match would suck.

I said it before and I'll say it again, this isn't opinion or anything it's the best possible Wrestlemania Main Event the WWE could come up with,

HBK v Edge - WWE Championship - Ladder Match

Couldn't get any better than that.

Don't care who wins, who has the belt going in, who wins the Rumble etc.

just make it happen.

Edge deserves a Wrestlemania Main Event as much as anyone else in the company (the Matt Hardy stuff aside), consistently brilliant over the course of the decade, fought back from a serious injury to be World Champion, has done the business for the company for quite a while and already has a catalogue of great matches to his name. A Ladder Match is his type of match and HBK is also a legend of such a match as well.

Couldn't possibly get a better main event than that.

As for Smackdown?

Not a fan of Batista but he's their main draw, he has to figure somewhere, personally I'd like to see him v Mr.Kennedy but there's no way the WWE would do that yet. Although if you look at how quickly the WWE pushed Kurt Angle and how successful it was it shows with the right wrestler it's always going to work. Kennedy is that sort of guy. Who will the WWE go for instead though?

Really hard to say on this one.

Do you know what I reckon is the go here?

I loved the 2000 Wrestlemania Main Event, Fatal Four Way Elimination and all, that hasn't been done for a while, especially on a PPV Main Event, if at all.

Batista (Champion) v Mr.Kennedy v (2 other guys)

Undertaker maybe not because it's obvious he isn't going to lose at Wrestlemania. Who does that leave?

Guys like Kane and Benoit.

But you need to go with the 2 face and 2 heel thing so I'm not sure.

Regadless, no one on here will come up with better Wrestlemania Main Event's than the one's I have just come up with.

For supporting Main Event matches with 'retired' wrestlers you'd be looking at something with Mick Foley, or someone like Vince McMahon getting involved with a legend.

Mr. McMahon v Cena in a street fight sounds pretty good.

Not Austin mate he has ********ed his neck up Hogan is just a plain joke. By the way Austin is still enertaining. Im not sure how old you are mate but Austin to me is the greatest superstar of all time along side the rock and still has it just has a stuffed up neck

Austin's a great entertainer, no doubt and was a great performer in the ring as well, however to have a half decent match now he'd need to work with someone like HBK or The Rock sadly a match between him and Hulk Hogan would be a snorefest. Austin can't wrestle anymore as it is due to the injury you stated and Hogan hasn't been able to wrestle since rejoining the WWE.

Austin's last match in the WWE, Wrestlemania 2003 was carried by The Rock, if he were to do a guest match sort of appearance it definitely couldn't be with Hogan.

The match would suck!

orton vs cena the future. quite possibly the only closest thing u will get to a rock vs austin fued. orton could carry out this match u wouldnt have to worry there. cena has the charisma to make the match good so yeah.

Orton v Cena would be good as long as Orton wins and Cena goes and makes some more crappy B grade movies that no one cares about leaves the WWE and Y2J comes back.

Now that would be good.

Orton v Cena does look the future though. As long as Randy Orton wins I'm fine with it.

He can pull off a great promo, while Orton struggles to say full words without slurring. I did actually. To me, all Orton is is the look. He has the perfect Main Event look, and he obviously brings in the female viewers. But to me, he's boring.

im gonna go out and defend Orton here.... back in late 2003/2004 Ortan was unstoppable at in-ring performances...firstly against HBK then jericho... remember his classic hardcore match against Mick Foley? that whole fued was awesome... then he contined his streak of awesome matches with Edge (coming off his injury) and Shelton Benjamin and Beniot. Ortan more then held his own in the ring and this was causing alot of fans (including me) to appluad his in-ring performances for the past year... So then wwe gave him the title and a face turn which completely killed all momentum he had... since then he hasnt done much since.. apart from having a few good matches here and there... he is very much cappable of putting in great performances.... he just needs to keep his head straight... he also has to stop being a ******** backstage too

If Cena main events Wrestlemania again it's a joke.

I wouldn't have HHH or Cena in the Main Event this year. They dissapointed last year at Wrestlemania and it's best to change things around.

Add to that no one deserves to main event a Wrestlemania more than Shawn Michaels, give him the title soon and keep it on him until Wrestlemania. Feud him with Orton along the way, not dropping the belt then finally Edge leading into and at Wrestlemania.
