That is simply speculation.
There is one thing we can be absolutely POSITIVE of. Both Dale Thomas and Xavier Ellis have both shown more in the part of the year that matters than the number one pick in the 2005 draft.

One player doesn't make a team mate, it's not Murphys fault we haven't made the finals in the past three year.
Ellis >>> Thomas, period.
He's played great, but 1 great game doesn't mean he's better then others in the draft.
he has more premierships than those 4 combined
Has more premierships than Bob Skilton, Robert Harvey, Nathan Buckley etc, but i somehow don't think he is better than what they were.

Yeah so what you're saying is simply speculation, where as the fact both Thomas and Ellis have had more impact when it actually matters, that is fact, yes?
Cool... Thought so. And then when it all boils down to it, Pendlebury >>> Murphy.
Murphy would have to be right up there with Andrew Walker as the worst kick in the AFL wouldn't you think?
