Xerri - how many?

Ten weeks minimum for me. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s twenty.

Worst non football act I’ve ever seen on an AFL field.

Last person to do it was ex-Brisbane star and current Geelong coach Nathan Buckley who got 1 week for smearing blood on an opponent's jumper. If I recall, ex-Brisbane star Buckley did it so that both players would have to come off the ground for the Blood rule.

Xerri is guilty of smearing his blood on the skin of an opponent. I think a full season suspension is appropriate.

Rubs his fingers into his bloody nose multiple times looking at his fingers each time until he has enough blood on them.

Smears the blood on McGraths face.

4-6 weeks is the reasonable suspension. Genuinely should be 8-12 weeks. Worst intention act on a footy field since Hall and Staker.

Thoughts at prayers to all those SC players.

Buckleys was a stupid and poorly thought out tactic

The Xerri one is one of the more average things ive seen, Wouldnt be suprised if its more then a month

Essendon player would have been well within his rights to smack him, feral act.

[EDIT: The following is all premised on it being established that Xerri did in fact smear blood on McGrath]

Sadly it has to be at least two weeks.

I would not complain if it were four weeks.

Anything more than that would be excessive given his good record and that this was clearly a brain fade caused by being hit to the head illegally moments earlier.

The only real winner from all of this is Michael Voss.

That's special.
