the return of rowe?? as far as im aware (and correct me if i'm wrong) he was just not included in the side.

Why on earth are o'bree, williams in the side, with rowe, maxwell, cloke not playing? resting cloke and leaving fanning as our sole ruckman (besides walker) was a stupid decision.

A. Williams... i have completely had it with this guy. Useless. did more harm than good. Spoiled tarrant, few clangers, looks like a lost puppy out there.. where as obree, makes a lost puppy look coordinated and full of direction.

Obviously malthouse was desperate to win this game. So desperate, he had cole, buckley, davis, lonie, caracella rotating through the bench, whilst duds like obree and williams get full game time.

Malthouse is really beginning to look like he lacks what it takes to get us back to the top. Rocca looked exhausted in the forward line after a half attempt at a contested mark in the 3rd quarter.... so he gets moved into the ruck?

Every supporter of a losing team ask these sorts of questions. But you know the answer. Fitness, discipline, development, team structure, opposition match-ups.
Malthouse's job is to get you into the 8 at the end of Round 22, with enough fit and experienced players to cause some havoc while there. Selecting the same 22 each week won't do that.
Not demeaning the Dogs but this would have been thought to have been one of your more winnable games, so would have seemed the opportunity to give a few kids a run.
