HR department (Mafia)

HR Director (Godfather) –actively promotes wellness initiatives and fosters work-life balance but will put your on a performance improvement plan if you mispronounce their name. immune to everything but lynching and seering; seers other players; seers as a villager.

HR advisor (intimidator) – has honed the ability to “suggest” a course of action against an employee whilst making it seem like it was your decision all along. instructs one player each phase who to vote for during the day phase; cannot choose the same player on consecutive nights.

Payroll Consultant (roleblocker) – has the power to delay payment of wages, citing an administrative error “above country” - blocks one player’s action each evening may not choose the same player on consecutive nights.

HR admin –trades in gossip, assists with kills.

Win condition: eliminate all Trade Union officials (wolves) players, the Small Business Owner (Serial Killer), and equal or outnumber the village



Trade Union (Wolves)

President (Alpha) – Frequently champions themselves as one of the working class, despite being paid a wage that wouldn’t be out of place at “the big end of town” - immune from everything but lynching and seering; seers other players; seers as a villager

Secretary (beta)– engaged in constant workshopping to come up with an alternate chant to the “The Workers United, Will never be defeated” that is more inclusive and less aggressive to appeal to a broader, more inclusive, range of workers. becomes the Alpha if the Alpha dies

Local Branch Representative (cub) – wears a CMFEU t-shirt everywhere despite not having being on the tools for over a decade. if the local branch rep (Cub) dies, the wolves receive two (2) kills the following combined phase phase

Union worker – assists with kills, doesn’t work overtime

Bonus: Gets one Rostered Day off (RDO) per game that protects against all night actions and the lynch – can be used at anytime for lynch / night or night / lynch

Win condition: eliminate all HR Department (Wolves) players, the Small Business Owner (Serial Killer), and equal or outnumber the village



NEUTRAL

Small Business Owner (Serial Killer) – Hates everyone due to them constantly getting shafted by every government employee & employer policy that makes their life harder, and never gives anything to them, the little guy. Often heard muttering that Australia is build on the backs of small business owners.

Immune from everything but lynching and seering; seers as villager; kills one player each night

Win condition: Make it to the final five players



GOOD

IT department worker (Seer) – Has absolute carte blanche access to all employee records, but the system was set up on Lotus Notes so data is often incorrect or missing - chooses one player each combined phase to discover their role; will not be told whether they are the real seer or the fake seer

Linked-in Recruiter (vigilante) – Has the power to remove anyone from the recruitment process for any reason, choose your headshot carefully. chooses one player each night to kill

Personal Brand Specialist (Doctor) – Works on maximising your personal brand so that you stand out in a competitive Job Market. Believes your net-worth is equal to your network. chooses one player to protect from all non-lynching actions; may not choose the same player on consecutive nights. Will seer as Doctor.

Centrelink (Flogs) – three players who know each other’s role and share a PM, get one seer, one kill but because they are chronically overworked, it will take 4 business days for the paperwork to be processed and the order to go through



All other players are Employees with no special abilities, aside from their intelligence and rat-cunning

Win condition: eliminate all HR Department players, Trade Union Officials players and the Small Business Owner (SK)



Sick Day – Amulet

Having a Sick Day protects from all night and day actions, will be randomly handed out at the start and must be passed on by the end of the next day phase or will vanish. The Sick Day will explode randomly and vanish during the game, killing whoever holds it at the time.

Gee even some of the "Good" roles are tinged with evil. One reason people choose or desire to be Self-employed.
