The ads jammed everywhere over the site annoy me. I didnt notice them before if there were any. I think its a little harder to follow wtf is going on. Maybe its because im not used to it.

Also appears to have killed the West Coast "portal" which is what I used to get 85% of my West Coast News. Now I am actually going to have to look at these sites to find this stuff?

Yeah I'm not a fan. Seems a bit tumblr-ish. As previously mentioned I'm sure I'll get used to it but so far every time I've opened bigfooty I've closed it within a few minutes.

Happy its back, im on exams atm and was seriously lacking my number 1 procrastination tool. Was refreshing like crazy.

ATM i kind of don't like it, i think. Some things are definitely better and i get the feeling that in a week or two i will love it but atm im just hating on change because its change. Feels a little bit like facebook when they change the layout every month.

I'm loving the alerts function and general accessibility. Also the likes this pleases me endly. Im a like whore...

My biggest gripe would be that for some reason the threads just feel harder to read, don't stand out as well or something. That and the previously mentioned avatar weirdness and most importantly big soccer? Im sure that will be changed soon obviously. Not really a fan of talking soccer in my exam study time.

I mean FFS I changed to the default layout maybe 15 mins into my new xenforo experience, despite the even shittier (salmon and aqua blue dafuq?) colour scheme.

I think it looks good, the alerts are pretty handy. I don't really like how we can't customize our signature with pictures and designs but w/e.

I know certain BF members have been abusing the like system to flood folks alerts (that haven't turned, or don't know how to turn it off).
Wonder how long the like function will survive if that keeps happening.
I'd say a rep system would be similarly abused

Also, is it just me or when you click the image icon in the reply box to insert an in-line pic it takes forever to load the input box?

I do miss the old emoticons though.

Not sure what the big fuss is to be honest. Users can still post, and the posts come out in English... so that's fine by me. Love the avatar changes - just wish everyone would go ahead and change theirs so they're not blurry. The like function is also cool and appeals to my ego, so that's a good thing. And for people complaining about ads, have you never heard of AdBlock??

The only thing I'm not happy with is the over-reactionary response from some. If they actually bothered to read the posts by Chief and Co. they would have found that the change just wasn't something decided over a game of strip poker, it was something that was needed for the entire stability of BigFooty. Things change, and they change for a reason. Sure, things won't be exactly the same as before, but nothing ever is.

I'm sure that once all the kinks are sorted out, BF will be better than it always was.

The old BigFooty is dead, long live the new BigFooty, I say!

Still feels very cluttered to me, I don't understand why the white board with grey down the sides like a background is really needed. The box's around each poster's user details/avatar have the same effect.

Worst though is the OP's avatar next to the thread titles.
