What's your best side with the current list? exclude injuries and all that stuff, If you were Schwab and you were in the match comittee deciding the line up, how would it go?
I've had a go at it....

B: McCabe-----------Hay-------------Graham
HB: Lonie----------Rawlings----------Smith
C: Johnson---------Crawford---------Greene
HF: S. Cox------------Holland-----------Chick
F: Dixon----------------Barker-----------Barlow
R: Thompson---------Lekkas----------Harford
Inter: Vandenberg, Tallis, A. Cox, Bateman

Emg: Ries Bowyer Hodge

Note:There are a lot of young guys that could of gone in there but In the end I chose the ready-made players.

So what do you guys think....

Not bad Steggie!
I would probably put Chick on the wing, and Coxy on the half back line some-where. (He played his best footy aty half back flank for us, but has played well at CHB so far this season)

I think:

Johnson's best position is at Box Hill.
Piccione is a definate for our best 22.
Rehn as 2nd ruck also makes our best 22.
Lonie is relying on inury to others to make the best 22.
Ries in - he's a gun.

You got Johnson right JohnD he tried today but he has run out of chances just cannot adjust to the tempo of senior AFL footy.
Agree with Piccone, Rehn No.1 ruck as shown today when he is back... if he gets back but on potential or what he has done I will not give up as he basically won 2 premierships at Adelaide... McLeod won the medals but Rehn got them there. (Oh McLeod is the better of them now by a long way but then not)
Ries at the present good call hope he continues.
Lonie don't know about that wait and see what he does when he is injury free. You have give some food for thought as has Stegalotor on this thread so I'll come up wtih a team to challenge this one...

I challenge Chris23, Danny chook and the hitman as well, by the way nice to meet you and when I get down to my one box hill game I try to get to each year I will look for you at your possie behind the coasches box.

ok the positioning may not be perfect but these would be the players:

B: McCabe-----------Hay-------------Smith
HB: Tallis----------Rawlings----------Graham
C: Vandenberg---------Crawford---------Chick
HF: Barker------------Holland-----------S.Cox
F: Dixon----------------Thompson-----------Barlow
Foll: Rehn---------Lekkas----------Harford
Inter: Piciaone, Ries, A. Cox, Bateman

My best 22 :

B: Tallis - Hay - McCabe
HB: J.Smith - Rawlings - Graham
C: Lekkas - Harford - S.Cox
HF: Picioane - Holland - Chick
F: Barlow - Barker - Dixon

R: Thompson - Vandenberg - Crawford
I: Rehn - Ries - A.Cox - Bateman

Emerg: Hodge - Greene - B.Johnson

I think hawks have the depth to cover Chick when he is not ni the midfield. SO I put him on the forward flank because he will always kick a few goals, adn Geelong need a handy goalsneak, And he will still probably get just as much possesions on in the forward line...maybe a couple less.

I'll have a go

McCabe, Hay, Graham
Smith, Rawlings, Hodge
Lekkas, Harford, S.Cox
Dixon, Holland, Picioane
Barlow, Barker, Chick
Thompson, Vandenberg, Crawford
Rehn, Ries, Bateman, *

*I'll decide the last spot after I see Ladson play. If it's not Ladson then it will be Greene.

Being a Crows Supporter, i can vouch for that!
Rehny was the one who got them there - look at both prelim finals against the bullies too....

I was so annoyed and angry that people started doubting shaun  - he is a champion and champions always bounce back! I was estatic to see how he played, he is my favorite player of all time & i miss having him in the crows side! oh well! :( I hadda funny feeling that the third knee reco he had in 1999 is effecting him badly - he was a great leap ruckman now he's gotta be a bullock matty primus type - stand and deliver!

GO REHNY!!!!!!!!!!!
