Mate of mine played the new Lonsdale course the other day.

Said it will need 6-12 months to settle down, but will be brilliant when it does.

I played Lonsdale years ago and thought it was a great track. Amazed it didn't get more attention.

Yeah I’ve had a look at it. Expensive. But it sounds like a really good thing so might have to invest.

yes very pricey.....and probably no good without a net or somewhere you can hit a lot of balls.

Swing has been feeling average the past few weeks and have been very inconsistent on the course which has been very frustrating. Decided to hit the range more earlier in the week and get a lesson to tune up a bit and figure out what I was doing wrong which were a few minor things. Hit up La Trobe yesterday and shot my best score since COVID 92 off the stick. Was quite happy with the round decided to join the brother down the peninsula today and play Bay Views ( $29 on a Wednesday VALUE!) were I shot an 89. Couldn't be happier how my ball striking is, putting was great at Latrobe with no 3 putts however today was different with about 4-5 3 putts. Will never figure out those greens at bay views no matter how many times everyone tells me to always aim toward the water.

Had a +6 for Par yesterday after being -2 after 3.
That’s the best score I’ve had for Par in many, many a long day!

Went out last evening for some twilight time at Waverley Public. Started driving poor but was good by the end. Golf was fun and company good.

Rolled my ankle pretty bad a few years ago. Never got it checked and soldiered on with work and it has never quite been right. Towards the end of golf after a fair amount of walking it nearly gave way at one point. Had a horrible nights sleep as every time i moved pain would wake me. Almost lame this morning. Hobbling around and acting like a cranky old bastard. Might have to lay low golf wise for a few days unfortunately as I have over 40 lawns to mow next week.

Had a hit at Colac a few days ago, nice course, some tough greens. Had 88 after a double and triple bogey on the first two holes.

Off to The Sands at Torquay tomorrow.

Within 10 minutes of writing this, i have a birdie putt that looks in 95% of the way lip out and put the next tee shot behind the only tree that is close to the fairway

Hit 105(37 points) down at Kingston Beach in Hobart. My record on that course by 2 shots.

Nothing better than playing well and seeing a reward to all the effort you have done to improve your game. Should have even got a GIR on a par 5, something which would have been unheard off for me just a couple of months ago. I am getting a lot more distance out of every club. It feels so good hitting the ball atm. Didn't even lose one golf ball.

So, I am looking forward to losing 5 balls and mishitting everything next time I am on the course.

99 today at Edithvale Public to see out the year, but man 2020 can **** right off. I didn't hit a fairway and pushed everything left but thankfully putting has improved a lot and I didn't really miss inside 5 feet.

Yep, but not sure it counts there

The 18 holes is only 3792m and only par 3s and 4s. I actually didn't play that well compared to other courses where I've scored worse
