There seems to be a bit of West Coast pumping going on here - what's the rationale? The outlook on our board is actually somewhat pessimistic about next season.

The fact that the Eagles finished fifth, percentage out of the the top four, with an injury list that could conceivably be considered the worst in the AFL this season. The fact that next year, they will get back a key position forward in Josh Kennedy who has great potential, Mark Lecras, and another year in guys like NicNat, Shuey, Gaff and Selwood.

Not saying they will win the premiership, but I think there's logical reason to get behind the Eagles, more so than the Dockers, who are also being pumped up a fair bit.
