This place is bizarro world sometimes. I wonder how long until they blame that 60 runs that the tail got on this more than likely loss.
Electing to bowl first and rolling them for 162 = Lost us the game clearly.
You could deadset open with the tail and we wouldn’t be 4/30 odd as often as we have been.

So? He gets picked and bowls regardless. You don’t make decisions based on 1 player, you make them based on your whole team.
Australia also has the better team 1-11 but have a suspect top order: why on earth are they giving NZ an ‘in’ by batting first on a green pitch.
Oops. Suddenly they’ve justified their decision by having NZ 8 wickets down for barely 100.
