He has. I suppose it comes down to where we think we are as a team too. Before the season started we all thought a few top ups and we'll be in the top 6 (I think we still will). However, we may be a bit further off the topping up stage than we initially hoped.

Very positive outlook this week with Harper having his first really solid game for a while, Wood knocking the door down for a senior debut, Dumont continuing his very consistent form this year and Jacobs starting to prove his too good for the 2nds.

Wright - 31 disposals at 84%. Used the ball really well along with Speight, Crichton and McMahon
Sammy is clearly getting on his bike, a team-high 11 marks. 14 handball receives (team-high) and 25 uncontested possessions (team-high). Only the 1 tackle but he had a team high 8 rebound 50's - next best in that regard was 3 rebound 50's.

McGennis - 26 disposals at 73% and again a majority of his possessions uncontested. Only 7 contested and perhaps attributed to a new role utilising his running? 12 handball receives. 7 tackles, 3 clearances, 3 score assists and 5 inside 50's.

Harper - 20 disposals at 60% (50% by foot) in a midfield role. One of only two players to have over 10 contested possies, with a team high 13. Also had a whopping 10 clearances and 3 centre clearances - both team highs. 5 inside 50's, 2 score assists and 4 frees for to go with 2 goals. Much improved.

Hine - 16 disposals at 69%. 4 hardball gets and 9 contested possessions.

Wood - 16 disposals at 56%. 9 marks (top 3 for Werribee). To go with his 4 goals, 2 behinds, Mason had 3 inside 50's and 2 score assists.

McMahon - 15 touches at 93%. 3 rebound 50's. Only 3 contested possessions. 2 spoils.

Currie - 8 disposals at 75%

North Ballarat

Jacobs - 39 disposals at 62%. Was accredited less on the website for memory. He had 17 handballs, 14 effective, but struggled by foot, going at 45%. He had a team high 10 ineffective kicks (well in front of Couch with 6). 10 contested possessions and 29 uncontested. 5 clearances, 6 I50's, 3 R50's.

Anthony - 33 disposals at 76%. Team high 11 contested possessions. 6 clearances. 4 R50's.

Swallow - The great man had 23 disposals at 77%. For those who had over 12 touches, he had a team high disposal efficiency by foot at 78%, with a majority of his kicks 'short'. 9 contested possessions, just behind the two above. 4 clearances (0 centre clearances), and 2 R50's.

Warren - 22 disposals at 77%. 6 handball receives and 13 uncontested possies. 5 rebound 50's and 3 spoils.

Wilkins - 21 disposals at 62%. 8 handball receives and 14 uncontested possies. 3 I50's and 1 R50.

Dumont - 16 disposals at 81%. 7 handball receives and 8 contested possessions. 5 clearances, which is impressive considering he only had 16 touches. 10 tackles, 4 I50's and 3 score assists.

Wallace - 8 disposals at 63%. He had a full 8 contested possessions. One clearance and a couple of score assists.

I doubt it will ever happen but gee I'd like to see him given a full game as the number one ruck.

I think we risk losing him before we'll ever know how good he could or can't be.

Yeah Goldie was ok last week for sure. Was up against absolutely no one and then even more of a no one after the GC ruck got injured.

It was no standard Goldie game though.

If you go onto the AFL site, taking the top 20 rucks currently in the comp he sit below avg in most categories.

He's been very disappointing so far this season.IMO.

Could do with a spell no one should be an automatic selection.
