Think it will be a really tight year, top 6 sides will be better then the next 9 teams, that will be better than the bottom 3 teams (easy beats).

I started drawing this up about a week ago. My premature tip:

Sydney
Port Adelaide
Hawthorn
Fremantle
North Melbourne
Geelong
Essendon
Gold Coast
Richmond
Adelaide
West Coast
Collingwood
GWS
Carlton
Melbourne
Western Bulldogs
Brisbane
St. Kilda

It turns out that I'm in agreeance with many people here. I am fairly confident about my top six and bottom six, but not my middle six.

I think Sydney will be a force for the time being, Port Adelaide are on the way up, Hawthorn has peaked, GWS and GC are improving, and Geelong is finally on the way down. Without knowing the future coach of the Crows, I have no choice but to put us in our customary position :/

Port in the top 4 next year, probably top 2 in the H&A.
Geelong still a top 4 side.
Fremantle out of the top 4.
North to miss the 8. Gold Coast to play its first Finals.
GWS to win 9 games.

It"s fun to guess which team each tipster supports, just going by their ladder predictions. Often there's one tip wildy out of whack (ie too high) and sure enough, it's their team.

To hard to call atm.
Lets see how the FA pans out, which clubs loose players and which ones gain players. Lets see if Clarko is still at Hawks next year or not. Lets see who is coaching the Crows and Suns first... and most importantly need to wait for the FIXture to come out so we can see how rigged Collingwoods draw is.

Before draft, trades, FA, ASADA, fixtures, etc

Sydney
Port Adelaide
Hawthorn
Fremantle
Richmond
North Melbourne
Geelong
Gold Coast

West Coast
Essendon (with Hird coaching, higher up with Thompson coaching)
Carlton
Adelaide
Collingwood

Western Bulldogs
Brisbane
Greater Western Sydney
Melbourne
St Kilda

Any of those in italics could make or miss finals without it being a big surprise.

Pre draft, free agency and fixture:

Melbourne
North
Sydney
Hawks
Port
Collingwood
Geelong
Bulldogs

West Coast
Fremantle
GWS
Gold Coast
Carlton
Brisbane
Adelaide
St kilda
Essendon
Richmond
Clearly a joke you have calling wood in the top 8.

In seriousness I think you guys may struggle. Losing Ryder will hurt, coupled with losing the draft picks is going to cause depth problems. Not to mention the unmentionable.
Bellchambers when fit is a pretty good player. We still have a fantastic defence (when Buddy isn't playing) and a midfield that wins more often than not. If we lift our forward line from mediocre to solid we'll be very dangerous.
