Just tell some lucky young kid to run 80m ahead of the ball and to punch guys behind play in or approaching finals. But if they refuse to avoid the hard ball, I'm sure there are some retiring winter olympians who can kick a footy and put their down hill skiing skills to good use.

Jimmy Webster is a very good, but inconsistent defender, at this stage of his development IMHO.

He was torn apart by Betts in Adelaide, but slaughtered Cyril Rioli at Etihad.

As a bloke who's played only 4 seasons, he goes pretty well. Imagine how good he'll be in another 2-3 years

I swear Dempster played on Betts?

He kept Garlett goalless twice IIRC, he kicked 40 goals this year..

Webster is an ok defender with above average rebound & courage.

Possibly. But I'm sure Webster also spent time on Charlie Cameron who also had a cracking day that day too. Wasn't a good day for Sean, Jimmy, Roo (KO'd) or Lonie (smashed in a tackle & played no further part)

Name me an afl back flanker that didnt get burnt by betts last year...
Was unseen in the final against hawks but hey i dont think the ball visited his half of the ground often to be fair.

He is loving it over in SA playing in a good fwd line where he is not alone like he was at carlton.

Milne-like last year.
(Except he gets better treatment from both crowds and umps)

Geary keeps quiet. Last time they played against each other was round 4, 2014 and Betts only got a single goal. So, that's one for last year.
