Too early to say and so much can change until then especially for these new gen players.
If Djokovic makes the final, no one is beating him. There would need to be a big decline in his performance for anything to change.

The US Open normally throws up a surprise or 2.
Cilic, Medvedev, Murray, Thiem and Del Porto. All won their first title in the US.

Djokovic dropped 4000pts in just two grand slams last year, And he actually won one of those tournaments for no points. The guy would still be light years ahead. The Australian, USA, and UK axis were the only nations making ridiculous political statements that affected the rankings which will be fake until after Wimbledon this year.

Yep. Would need to MASSIVELY improve his fitness and what not. Plying potentially 7 games to win a slam is a completely different thing to winning a round or two
