Toast Ben McGlynn - 100 games

Ben McGlynn plays his 100th game for a good AFL club next week, and how appropriate that it comes in a Grand Final, and quite possibly against his old team. His effort, commitment and attack on the ball this year has been nothing short of exceptional - he was given a 2nd chance by the Swans and has taken it with both hands.

My immediate thought when the siren went was one of genuine happiness for McGlynn. He's been quite remarkable this year in how he has led the side as part of the leadership group and his sheer output and effort.

His heart break in 2012 was really difficult to watch so I'm just delighted for him that he gets his shot.
