Do the Liberals have any good policies?

Your post and others argue against taking any action on Climate Change and are better suited to those threads rather than hi-jacking yet another one.

Stop being stupid. Lib polices on the topic are a key point of difference with the ALP. There is stuff all difference now on the spending, other taxes, illegal immigrants, health, IR etc.

I've got no problem with helping industry out, but let's make on an equal footing without picking, and choosing winners.

Great, so lets not pick winners re renewables. I agree.

What subsidy? Are you against foreign investment now? What about subsidies for renewables? Are they ok? What about auto subsidies and TCF subsidies? Are they ok?
Mining accounts for what $ of our exports? Circa 50%. Why cripple our most important industry via carbon and mining taxes? The Liberals may be clueless on a lot of things but at least they get that. The ALP are still making fools of themselves in this area

You've been told what subsidies multiple times; as i said you're either thick or a fanboy. Based upon the number of times you have to have things explained to you, you've gone with "thick".

You've been told what subsidies multiple times;

Lol. They weren't subsidies, they were tax breaks etc. Even bigger lol at you attempting to call someone a fanboi/ attempt to explain finance / economics

THE federal government gives just over $4 billion in direct subsidies to mining companies each year, mainly in the form of cheap fuel and tax breaks for building roads and railways, according to a report by the Australia Institute think tank

As per the previous posts on this you've gone with being thick.

As per the multiple times ive explained this to you look at the subsidies given by the Qld and WA to their power industries; re coal and gas.

Just another union thug with ideas above their station, you cant even spell peasant FFS.

Another article again backing up my post.

Australian coal, oil and gas companies receive $4b in subsidies: report

In Australia, this includes exploration funding for Geoscience Australia and tax deductions for mining and petroleum exploration.

The report also classifies the Federal Government's fuel rebate program for resources companies as a subsidy.

I see just like i had to explain to you in the GST thread as well the Carbon thread at least 12 times you've gone with being thick.

Not once did i mention the mining industry in regards to subsidies; i have specifically mentioned the subsidies the WA and Qld governments give to their power industries.

Just like i have to correct you when it comes to economics, i have to correct your constant mistakes on this.

Crazy isn't it? Why do we want to use taxpayers money to help companies reduce carbon emissions that plants thrive on?
Handing taxpayers to companies to stop pollution crazy stuff.

Ive heard that entities that had been paying for their own emission abatement programs due to the Carbon tax simply applied funding under the LNP direct action.

Id personally rather impose a tax on the activities of religious groups first.

Federal cabinet met on Monday night without a single formal cabinet submission to consider.

Amid concerns about the bypassing or breakdown of normal cabinet processes and growing mistrust within the Abbott government, the formal business before cabinet on Monday night comprised a minute relating to infrastructure, a letter on a social services issue, a general political discussion and reports from the chairs of backbench committees.
Bugger good policy, how about a policy?

CABINET - Functioning Exceptionally Well
$_20.JPG

Condition:

Used

As you can see from the picture, our cabinet is functioning exceptionally well. Pretty much 'as-new' condition. No damage whatsoever and no cracks beginning to show. Every part working exactly as it should be. No surprises.

Keeps everything neat and tidy (the last cabinet we had was chaos!).

Very modern looking. Also very sturdy - good at stopping things.

Does leak from time to time. Comes with flag.

Open to offers.

I heard it comes with a Foxtel connection, Yibbida?

If I wanted to connect that (unfortunately the NBN is a few thousand dollars away at the end of the street) exactly how much is owed by the previous owners to Mr Murdoch?

Great film - I came across it on late night TV when I was jet lagged once, not knowing anything about it. Summed up so much about modern society.
