Not surprised by the result, but the score line was closer than it should have been.

We are so far from a decent side atm. So many holes to fix which is crazy since the fortune we just spent. Need to start with the CM.
It's a bit weird at the moment. I know it's a change up in the middle of a season but Potter was getting more out of a much lesser squad at Brighton than he is out of the squad at Chelsea. Be interesting to see how Chelsea go against Newcastle next weekend.

I get var not overturning to an extent. But shows the inconsistency of the system. It's a free kick minutes later 3m outside the box for more side on and similar force. The worse decision was the high boot on Lucas. But easily could have been 2 penalties and at the very least 1
Mate take the goggles off. Sess dives to try to win a penalty with the softest touch in his back. And Thiago doesnt even make contact with Lucas with the high boot.

Play on.

Jod telling people to take the goggles off... The irony

High boot is dangerous play, would have been a fk anywhere else on the field

With no contact its an indirect fk for playing in a dangerous manner. Not a penalty.

That is usually only given in extreme circumstances. Most referees will let it go if no contact is made except for the most dangerous of sitiations. Im pretty sure you would go nuts if Liverpool were awarded a penalty without any contact being made on one of our plsyers.

Wrong, it's a direct free kick

And a direct free kick is awarded for careless attempts to play at the ball.

Classic Zidane not knowing anything

This is hilarious. You firstly claim dangerous play. When pointed out that is an indirect FK offense you change your tune to something else.

The use of careless is a grading of fouls in laws of the game btw. Careless (no discipline), reckless (yellow), excessive force (red). These all describe the level of foul committed which requires contact.

There is no law of the game that says a foul is awarded by "carelessly" attempting to play the ball.

The only exceptions to no contact are an opponent deliberately trying to kick an opponent (not the case here) or deliberately attempting to trip an opponent (not the case either).

I didn't change anything unlike yourself

He also had years to build the team and system.

We just have s**t players.

You can't expect him to come in without a preseason or transfer window and just work miracles. It'll take a while and patience is needed.

It's going to be a bit of a rebuild of the club from top to bottom as we are seeing with the backroom staff atm. It'll be happening with the playing squad too.

Really the first time I'd watched Chelsea this season but you just looked second best all over the pitch.

Very un Chelsea like to see Arsenal really dominate at the Bridge.
