So what excuses are fans going to make for TAA's abysmal defending today?
Useless on Sancho's goal (also what was VVD doing there), and non-existent for Rashford's.
Amended. You posted this already big guy.
Elanga had fun with him too.Rashford vs TAA is actually like what Liverpool fans think Torres vs Vidic was like back in the day.
Amended.
Can always rely on you at any opportunity to call me out.
He tried to stare him into missing.why was vvd standing there like an umarell
That was so galling. Even taking two steps forward he'd shut down the angle.why was vvd standing there like an umarell
Got exposed.why was vvd standing there like an umarell
Do premier league active support groups have guys with megaphones in the front, drums and other sorts of organised support? Seems awfully quiet for a home team 2-0 up against big rivals.

I went to quite a few games back in 2019 and majority of the time, the away fans are singing louder. I was at Old Trafford for the Arsenal game and the United fans were quiet all game. Not if you want to leave the ground with your front teeth in tact. Most English supporter bases absolutely hate organized support. Even flags etc are considered very cheesy. The support is generally organic on the terraces.
You tend to get the worst atmosphere at the top 6 clubs tbh, so tonight's atmosphere was probably par for the course.
They tend to have the larger stadiums but also a much larger % of tourists and walk ins and a much lower % of their overall crowd numbers is what most English fans would consider a hardcore fan. Half and half scarves galore at their games.
Most of these tourists generally don't know the songs other than singing along to something like YNWA, which effects the atmosphere.
The larger stadiums don't tend to have as good acoustics as some of the packed smaller 30-45k grounds also. These grounds are less like bowls also for max capacity, so the crowd is right ontop of the field.
Out of the largest stadiums in the UK, Celtic are definitely an example of a side with a large stadium but very decent home support.
Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd and Liverpool are all fairly embarrassing most of the time from that perspective compared to some of the other traditional clubs. Their commercial success and popularity world wide is a double edged sword, as they have lost this side to their home support.
Go to Elland Road, Celtic Park, Ibrox, St James Park or Villa Park if you want to experience the best UK atmospheres.
Did you see his run to try and close Sancho down when he knew it was too late?Just watched the highlights. Does TAA realise he has to defend occasionally? He completely gave up on the 1st goal and had no idea where Rashford was on the 2nd
He stopped as soon as the ball when down his side, slowly jogged to the middle and then didn't bother to close him down until too late. The lack of intensity to actually defend was amazing.Did you see his run to try and close Sancho down when he knew it was too late?
Selhurst park rates highly among UK fans. Not if you want to leave the ground with your front teeth in tact. Most English supporter bases absolutely hate organized support. Even flags etc are considered very cheesy. The support is generally organic on the terraces.

Geelong does a marching band pre game.We don't need a marching band to create an atmosphere. Arsenal could do with that. Ty should lead it.
Geelong does a marching band pee game
It is Geelong after allSounds interesting
Maybe this is why Southgate often overlooks him for Trippier, James or Walker. Overhyped scouse.Just watched the highlights. Does TAA realise he has to defend occasionally? He completely gave up on the 1st goal and had no idea where Rashford was on the 2nd
chef can make Geelong jokes. At least his club has to schlep down there more than once in a blue moon.It is Geelong after all
They are just playing him up the wrong end. They were only going to get away with his s**t defending for so long before teams start targeting it.Maybe this is why Southgate often overlooks him for Trippier, James or Walker. Overhyped scouse.
