IMO this actually makes a lot of sense.

Yeah thats why I think he was dropped. Ross isn't so much concerned about goals with him rather that he keeps our structure, competes and applies pressure.

Since he got his position by default as no other option, its good every now and then to drop him to make him hungry for the spot.
