Here's an idea go harder at those breaking the rules, especially those who should be in ISO when they are not, rather throwing more rules at those of us that are following the current rules.

so how do you suggest improving compliance?

the 13 unlinked and 39 outside iso is the killer

at least now we know why last nights discussions were happening

one day is a one off

two days can be chance

three days we have a pattern

bunker down peeps, its about to get worse :(

Well for starters actually penalise those breaking the rules in the first place instead of being a giant soft utensil , and picking and choosing who you fine, maybe then people will take it seriously because right now, no point doing the right thing, you might as well do the wrong thing as long as you tell the truth everything is OK.

They have a stat on the covid live site. 49.9% above 16 years have had their first jab. 28.7 % above 16 years are fully vaccinated. That takes it it to 78.6% older than 16 within the next 3 months....and hopefully quicker. That is not too bad...unless the 28.7 is included in that 49.9%...then we are a way off yet.

Reckon you’ll find that the 49.9% have had at least one jab, so that also includes those who have had both.

A very long way to go yet mate.

Cheers mate, in my line of work Coles is on

you are aware of what this means dont you?

vicpol can and will do it (as we know with speeding fines), and it will be ruthless

are you ready for pensioners to be fined for being 5.1km outside their zone? for people to be fined for being outside more than 2 hours?

are you ready for vicpol to have access to the QR code data?

So atm it looks like 1.2 mil are waiting for the second. which will take us up to close to 3 mil fully vaccinated. 5 million not vaccinated is a bit scary.

You would assume all 17 of the Shepparton group weren't since the 1st case was yesterday.

Reported that 16 that tested positive through rapid PCR will be included tomorrow. Pretty sure that will be the Shepparton cluster, numbers fit and explains the multiple updates yesterday/last night.

The numbers today are just Melbourne.

yep, its the Shep numbers

This. Bizarre considerimg how quick they've acted elsewhere.
If there was 12 across all of Melbourne by 5pm they would shut down by 8pm or at the very least midnight. Yet in a town of 50-60k where if there are that many cases in a smaller space it has the potential to spread quickly nothing has happened yet

i know we were all discussing it yesterday, but more details are needed today on the in community numbers.

second day in a row that the ratio has been sub 50% (after improving consistently before then)

what has changed in the last two days?

Looks like "80% Vaccination" is the new catchphrase for the LNP nation wide rather than just NSW. Ol' Mate Jeff on the case and Murdoch making sure the print is extra large.
