If we kept him he would been the whipping boy ahead of Grigg, etc. His career has shown us one thing - he looks alright in a good team, but put him in a bad team and his poor skills and poor ball winning capacity come to the fore.

when we are in a tough spot and a former player gets a few kicks at another team, questions are always asked about whether we should have let them go.

with White, yes, we/him did the right thing. He wasnt in the starting best, and he knew it. he was fit, but constantly made mistakes. he would be copping flak after our 1-3 start no matter what he was doing.
best thing that happened to him - even though he is a rabid tigers supporter.
