People overrate the midfield in a big way. Without Fyfe and especially Sandilands it's below average.
Geez, Simmo, it's a nab game. I'd rather go 75% now and be injury free than go full tilt and lose our key players in a meaningless game.

Better to have Melbourne challenge than play like witches hats and give us things to work on.
People forget we lost by 100 in the NAB cup and still made top 4.

Go back and watch the 3rd qtr of the GF as an example of Mundy's ability in traffic and contested ball.
Yeah but we also lost a regular game badly to St. Kilda. Should take any game and any opposition serious. And always play to win...
They have no ******* idea about this holding the ball rule.

Last year's start to the season was the biggest setback for pushing deep into finals.
Disagree, think these pre-season games should only be used to test structures, gain match fitness and making sure there's no injuries!

Sure but you want to see something different, a kind of improvement. The third quarter was another goalless one. This has been a pretty serious problem for Freo for a while.
I like watching us test new strategies & positions & players in these games, even if it does mean we lose. It's better than the alternative of having no injury cover during the season
Tanner and blakely going kick to kick. Tanner has improved his kicking action since I saw him last.

Lot like the 1st quarter. They jumped us but we played rope a dope pretty well. We should win comfortably with the wind.
Sutty is such a hard runner & playmaker. Silv good in the Q too.
