They are, but freedom of speech isn't the same as freedom to a platform. I can say "Wu-Tang is for the children, homosexuality is not" and I can make that into an ad and pay Channel 7, 9 and SBS to play it.

SBS is a publically owned broadcaster and they should be impartial.
