My 6 year old just said these two teams are not very good (Hawks and Eagles). He thinks Freo would win playing both of them (at the same time).

I can't see why the media and the public universally agree that WCE are tanking (one of their many excuses) yet they are unlikely to be penalised like Melbourne were.
