I've never been fishing in my life, and find the standard fishing shows on tele pretty boring, but those commercial fishing shows (eg. Deadliest Catch) can be pretty exciting to watch.

Yeah they're the ones I find boring. Just sitting on some random lake catching one fish, only to throw it back after you've spent all show trying to get it.

Yeah, fishing sucks. There's a guy at work who goes fishing almost every weekend and I just don't understand how you can keep doing it when you only sometimes catch fish.

I'm not much of a regular fisherman but I went out in the sound a few weeks ago.
A few squid, a couple of fish, lazy picnic lunch on Carnac Island with the sea lions then home... by about 11am.

We have our boat stored at a harbour yard. Give em 30 mins notice (takes us about 45 to get there) boats in the water ready to go. When we come back they bring the boat out, we give it a quick wash and bobs your uncle we are on the way home. Definately beats stories I've heard of 1.5hr waits at the boat ramp at 3am
Still better then listening to Ian healy.
Ours is a 5m runabout. They launch it/pull it out for you, it's a delightI have a 14ft boat. Not a yacht

The * does that cost just to save a few minus launching then? Surely not worth it for that?
Not as much as you think. We also have no where to store it at home so we really had no choice
