Another round down and the Virgin Award hots up this week with several candidates putting their cases forward. jackenny, toxic and SpudsLoveChild are all having cracking seasons however there can be only one and when Danoz asked me to have a look at that wrapper over at the Demons, I couldn't really see what the fuss was about...

After clarifying what I was supposed to be looking at, it turns out I was supposed to be looking at deaneus. And when I did, I was pleasently surprised (no homo).

Not only has deanus been racking up the stats, he's also been a posting a treat with 25 posts last Match Thread. Eth and the Demons heirachy would be rapt with the progress of their new recruit and last week was another great performance.

21 disposals and a goal from the centre in a 5 goal win is good but when you consider he's averaging that every game so far, it certainly highlights the season deaneus is having. A superb effort. Coupled with his increased posting output, he's definitely deserving of a nomination.

Some highlights from the weekends game include:

1 : 8.14 {lHBF} - Draws a man and then with hands to Citroin.
1 : 8.18 {C} - He sends the ball to Mr Eagle.
1 : 8.24 {C} - But deaneus is standing in the way and marks.

1 : 16.59 {C} - He tries to find deaneus with a chip pass.
1 : 17.03 {C} - deaneus sits on the head of Mr Eagle! Great mark.

1 : 12.48 {C} - Mr Eagle with a moment to look downfield.
1 : 12.52 {C} - Mr Eagle didn't see that tackle coming from deaneus.
1 : 12.56 {C} - deaneus hits the ground running.

2 : 7.57 {C} - Mr Eagle outbodies deaneus and takes an easy mark in the end.
2 : 8.01 {C} - Now Mr Eagle has the ball. What can he do with it?.
2 : 8.06 {C} - That's a fantasic tackle by deaneus.
2 : 8.1 {C} - deaneus with the ball now.

3 : 23.12 {C} - That kick is a real floater.
3 : 23.16 {C} - deaneus sits on the head of Mr Eagle! Great mark.

4 : 21.1 {C} - A poor handpass but deaneus is up to the challenge.
4 : 21.15 {C} - He has a bounce.
4 : 21.19 {C} - That couldn't be a goal ... surely?.

It has been a fantastic start, to be sure. Having made many sacrifices to the RNG God in my lifetime, it's nice to see that hard work paying off (those of you who have played ADOM will know what I'm talking about). Kate Upton would be proud. And willing.

EDIT: of those 25 posts in the last game, about 15 were in the minutes before the game as I filled in time waiting. Guess that makes me a red-time specialist.
