Since when is being drunk in a public place a chargeable offence? How many people are charged with this each year? Why is Karl Stephanovic not in prison - he was drunk on national television, you don't get much more public than that. Have you ever seen the streets around the Rocks at New Year? They could charge literally hundreds of thousands of people with being drunk in public.
Quick poll... Who on this forum hasn't, at some point in their history, been drunk in public? Were you ever charged by the police?
