Oh i agree. I just dont think Pek suits their gamestyle going forward. If they get an offer that allows them to build the squad towards then they have to look at it.

A guy like (and these are just names, not actual players they should target) a Sanders or Jordan would be a much better fit for a run and gun offense.

Maybe Robin Lopez would be a decent option for them going forward?

Pekovic has succeeded pretty well in fast paced offenses so far. He doesn't slow them down or present a negative IMO.

I just think it'd be addition by subtraction, as they wouldn't have a reliable inside scorer without Pek. No matter how many people advocate "small ball", you still can't win without a guy over 6'9" who can get you a bucket or clean up with an offensive rebound.

If they could turn Brewer and Budinger over for someone like Carl Landry, it'd be very good for them. Give them some more options and balance them out a bit more.
