Neither. And with that cheap possession getting hack called Luke Hodge at the backline still playing, they might aswell give the game to Geelong!

Cam Mooney's gotta be the best forward since Tony Lockett, how can they lose?

Im glad I read the last page (35) before I posted because I was about to comment on the blatantly stupid statements previously posted thinking they were actual peoples opinions!

Sort of what like plan b has done above me, by not bothering to read previous posts he has stupidly put his foot in it and asked a question about a player who probably has 20-30 previous posts about his form and fitness coming into the season....And also a complete thread in eagles nest dedicated to himself, but it does say newbie under your name so I guess you must be given slack...

The Masten thread links back to this page. I'm not going to go through the previous 35 pages looking for news on Masten when i wanted a recent update if available.

I reckon the harder thing is deciding who to pick in the 6th defender and forwards spots and 5th midfielder. Due to the salary cap limitations, they are likely to be either untried rookies (that might not play) or a player that has been cruelled by injury for at least a season. So, it comes down to taking a risk either way. Go with the injured player and you are likely to have a proven point scorer - so if all goes well injury wise they are more likely to get into their side's 22 but the rookie has less chance of playing if fit - but if he does he can make more $.

I have Spangher in my side, pretty cheap and has shown promise. Thoughts please.

if he plays, i reckon he could be a great pick up, however hes not guaranteed a game and you'd be better off with someone like ricky petterd or even stephen hill who are more likely to play

Depends how top heavy you make your team with premium players. If you spread yourself out then its possible to still get a player around the 200K mark for your 6th and 7th picks in the forward and defensive lines.

True - but you need a decent number of premiums at the start due to the limited number of trades. I have pretty much got $200,000 6th DEF/FWD and $125,000 DEF/FWD at the moment.

This is my dream team, help would be appreciated.

Not necessarily, If you can pick players who are cheap who can graduate to the ranks of premium, then it's a win win situation for you. My trick is to look for people coming back from injury who are proven point winners (Haselby, Lucas etc) or kids who are on the verge of break out years (Masten, Higgins etc) and you can make up your points very easily there. Then if there value increases significantly enough, sell them at a profit for a premium who's had a slow start to the year, but is due to pick up.

Buy low, sell high ;)
