Brownlow is simply the best midfielder award. Everyone knows that. Its good that Gaz won it, I dont particularly rate the award that highly. Some great players have won it no doubt but some absolute spuds have to. Bryce Gibbs polled more votes than Nick Riewoldt - enough said.

After all the work we put in trying to get people to rate him the umpires really delivered a huge facepalm last night.

Well lat night really showed how hopeless the umpires are. Enright getting no votes was disappointing but Chappy only getting 1 vote in the Adelaide game was just as bad. I guess it goes to show although he is consistent he doesn't do anything amazing in any game to really attract a lot of attention.

I'd love to go back over the archives and bump the threads from 2006 and early 2007 when people were saying we should get rid of Boris (but I couldn't be bothered). Love the way he has changed their views or at least shut them up.
