Reina
Johnson Carra Skrtel Aurelio
Bennynoon Plessis Lucas Riera
Kuyt Torres

:thumbsu:

Insua and Mascherano are getting back Friday, so none of them wil start, Babel and Kuyt aren't playing mid-week and arrive back Monday or Tuesday, so they'll be fine to go, who knows the extent of Gerrard's injury.

Surely Lucas is not in the Brazilian squad?
Good central midfield against Sunderland.

Reina
Johnson Agger Skrtel Aurelio
Kuyt Gerrard Lucas Benayoun
Babel Torres

Benayoun centre mid with Riera left if Gerrard isn't playing. Riera doesn't deserve to start... Babel is in form.
Not sure if Agger is ready to start a game. Carra obviously if he isn't.

Bennynoon is not a central midfielder in a normal 4-4-2 formation, Bennynoon could only play centrally if he's playing off the main striker.

Wouldn't have thought Agger would play, depends how he pulls up after playing for Denmark (if he does).

Babel hasn't been bad a for a while now. Riera is shit at least Babel has talent.

Babel scored two goals against Hull, one of them being an accident; he's been playing okay, but not as good as many on here are claiming. He's still just as average as Riera.

I'd play Babel up front with Torres, Benny to the left and Kuyt to the right.

**** Riera; he's rubbish, ridiculously predictable and he is always looking disinterested.

Jay Spearing has overtaken Plessis surely?

I'm sick of reading reports and getting my hopes up, I'll refrain from commenting on anything to do with a 'take-over' of sorts until it's confirmed.

Dagger played the entire match for Denmark, which I am sort of happy about, but not happy about.

Although his game in the reserves was the same day as the Fiorentina UCL match, so that was a while back, so he should have been ready to go for 90 minutes.

EDIT: He'll play another 90 minutes on Wednesday night and he'll be on the bench on the weekend against Sunderland.

Why would you pick Riera TIG?

He's rubbish. Shown nothing all season - and he's a lazy shit.

Because he's a lot better than Babel.

Not on this seasons form, he isn't.

Riera hasn't showed anything. Not one glimpse of quality since 2008. He's been a lazy, half-arsed piece of shit ever since he got an undeserved call up for Spain, and he's been a Billy Big-Time ever since, the lazy git.

I don't give a shit who plays ahead of him, but until he sorts out his pathetic attitude and shitty work-rate out, he can piss about in the reserves. ****ing greasy Spanish shithouse.

Babel and Riera are the same this season, bar one game against a dreadful Hull City side where I could have scored 8 goals.

Babel's second was an accident, so he cant even claim that. We were already 4-1 up and he scored his first, near 90 minutes, so the match was over.

Neither have done anything to warrant selection, but Riera over Babel any day of the week.

the sad thing is riera and babel have so much talent but they are so lazy.

riera has more skill than anyone on our team, but when it comes to taking players on he is hopeless

You must've missed Babel setting up the game winner against West Ham?

Important goal. Important win.

Yeah, that was definitely his best game so far this season.

Too bad it was about a month ago and has no real relevance now.

It was a very good cross and well, if Nando wasn't on the end of it, it wouldn't have been a goal.

So after that he came off the bench against Hull and was effective.

Then what? Didn't really get a go against Chelsea?

Not sure how Riera's been better/more effective.

Yeah, he came off the bench against Hull and was effective because the game was over and Hull gave him space to operate.

Played 20 minutes against Fiorentina and was gash. Was gash off the bench against Chelsea too.

Riera and Babel are the same, Riera will always get chosen to start ahead of Babel unless Riera is injured (or he's being rested for an important upcoming match, which could be the case this weekend coming).

How about you start Aurelio ahead of both of them?

Well, for the 1 game in 20 that he's actually fit.

I don't like him as a left-winger, unless we're going for an ultra-stable, defensively oriented left flank.

Benayoun on the left, Kuyt on the right, Aquilani to stop being a little bitch, man up, and play through a bit of discomfort and Lucas thrown off the docks. :thumbsu:
