Foo Fighters - Wheels

Probably there best song in more than a decade and has kind of escaped the praise it deserves cos it was released on a Greatest Hits album. Shame that

like 70s rock except not. after releasing this steaming **** of a song i am happy they're on a break (and i am a long standing FF fan having seen my first show of theirs in 95. i love em. but not this song).

WHAT? As a massive Foo Fighters fan, probally my favourite band this would have to be one of the worst songs they've ever released. Sounds more like Nickelback than FF. Absolute rubbish song.

Rancid - New Orleans. Let The Dominoes Fall was a pretty disappointing album by theiur standards but this song is an absolute ripper.
I thought it was too be expected. They have some excellent work but they also have far too many shit songs. Life wont wait was mostly rubbish, Indestructible mostly rubbish and no surprise that Let The Dominoes Fall fell into that catagory as well. Their work since ...And Out Come The Wolves has been for the most part poor.

Future of the Left - Small Bones, Small Bodies (edgy rock without the standard verse chrous verse, 4/4 arrangement that seems to dominate the airwarves these days for the 2% of time electronic Pop-McCrap isn't on it)

Wagons - Goodtown (story of the dangers of the tree-change set in a well crafted nu-country sound)

Drive by Truckers - Righteous Path (not a peep heard about this instant classic, sounds like the end of a big night from the opening bars)

Clutch - Abraham Lincoln. When Tim Sult describes this as his favourite riff, it deserves a mention.

I've only really heard that song and arming eritrea by Future of the Left, excellent sound, the passion and anger in the music reminds me a little of excellent noise rock with punk influences such as ATDI and Refused.

The Church - Ripple. Can't remember this song getting any airplay at all when it was released around '92. I only discovered it when I bought Priest=Aura about 5 years later. Classic Church.

(*Warning: Richard Wilkins appears at the end of this video)

Likewise Lousiana, Anaesthesia, Ricochet and Buffalo are all great underrated tracks off The Church's Hologram of Baal album. Very underrated album in fact.

Go get their two albums then, you'll love them. :thumbsu:

Lol, are you serious? That is one of their worst efforts ever. Terrible, terrible vanilla song.

I think this mob are on their way, this song IMO is underrated.

I agree about Wheels - Nickelback clone if I have ever heard it. Foo Fighters have really gone downhill recently.

Fair enough, your taste is obviously very different to mine. They're my favourite band and I've loved everything they've done up until Let The Dominoes Fall.

One of the lesser known songs off The Temper Trap's first album; Rest.

Have you listened to Operation Ivy? Im assuming you would've, but anyway they did the ska-punk sound alot better than Rancid ever did IMO.

for me it would probably have to be anything off snob scrilla's debut album.

this one was played on the js a bit, but not enough i reckon
