im not one to bag players but have been disappointed with this guys form, really came to the game against the dawks when he sould of dominated and didnt.
sure he may get a tap out but directing them has been woefull, i may of expected more from his around the ground play but believe goldy is doing the better job.
this has been brewing way before his injury last week, but for my liking would want to step it up a bit at the momement.
Mitch Clark & co.
He's stagnated.
I don't want ruckmen that are ruck rovers, I want ruckmen that impose themselves on the match with a physical presence.
I stated 3 years ago that Hamish should be locked in a weights gym for the entire summer with Glenn Archer throwing darts at him for inspiration.
He plays "nice" football.
As do Goldy, who's young and excused, and Hale. They don't impose themselves. If they did the mosquito fleet may walk a little taller, and have alot more ground ball to compete for. Great points.
The fact Hodge wasn't hospitalised for playing in the ruck pretty much sums up our big men are built like Tarzan but play like Jane. As Grant Thomas said during Footy Classified, if he was a ruckman and Hodge went into the ruck he would drive his knee through his chest on the first ball up.
We have no mongrel.
