Bryce Gibbs or Marc Murphy ?

Murphy is a quality inside midfielder. He is prepared to go in hard for the ball often making his other team mates jobs easier. Gibbs is good as a outside midfielder, but if I had a choice of the two, it would be Murphy.

For Sydney it would be Murphy by a country mile. Also for any other team it would be Murphy by a country mile.

I love both to death and would hate to lose any one of them but Murphy for me! Murph is my favourite player currently and ever since i saw his first few games i knew he was going to be an excellent player for us for many years. Gibbs is no slouch at all and oozes class and skill but Murphy is just massive man crush material and both will be excellent players for us now and in the future and 2 sorts of blokes you can build teams around. Cant believe how young both still are and they have massive futures in the AFL.

Both top 10 finishes in last years Brownlow as well.

Which ever one of those two your team needs than that is who you would choose between Murphy and Gibbs.

Whilst Gibbs always plays really well against us for some reason (I know this because I keep losing bets with my Carlton supporting mate out of most disposals Selwood v Gibbs), I would prefer Murphy.Gun player who influences games more frequently IMO. Gibbs is more the Diane sauce whereas Murphy is the steak.

Gibbs is Ryan Houlihan Mk 2 without the footskills. Had a kicking eff of 44% last week, absolute horrid for 1 who plays off the HBF without a direct opponent.

Not really Gibbs' fault that their coach is a muppet and isnt playing him in the midfield though...

Murphy is like Simpson and Judd. Great when they've got the ball, awful when they dont.
