Regardless Watson should be fined and given an official warning if there is to be any consistency. The ICC is trying to clamp down on poor over rates.

it remains to be seen whether he will or not, but he's *only* 18 minutes over, there have been plenty worse than that over the years. and, as with the Dhoni ban they took off a bit of time for time wasted outside of his control, which they will do with this aswell..


A team really needs 15 overs of spin in an Innings though to be absolutely safe from the over rate being too slow. having two quick allrounders might not always work.

Once Clarke is back we have a fantastic problem as no one really deserves to be dropped! Warner and unluckily Forrest would probably be the first ones on the chopping block, but it's not an easy decision.

cant see them dropping warner. he's the poster child and golden boy this summer....also spoken about being captain. CA will invest in him at all costs.
