Yes the MRP seemed to think the arm incident was ok - which makes a mockery of their findings in the Selwood incident.

Roughead won't be assessed as intentional, even Wellingham wasn't assessed as intentional

This should take you to footage of the incident. Hard to see how it could be considered unintentional. Seems clearly intentional.

Guess we will just have to wait for the MRP's roll of the dice.

And SteveJ was unintentional?

Johnson basically braced himself when Hannebery ran into his line, which is part of what made the decision so absurd. Johnson didn't go out of his way to run over to the opponent and bump him. Roughhead did. I am not saying Roughhead should get any weeks for it, but I am saying it looks intentional and a touch 'worse' than the Johnson incident. He may get a week.

In the unlikely event he gets cited he has a good record so no time missed. Johnson got the week because of his points loading.

If he gets cited and it is adjudged exactly the same as SJ's then yes, he is fine as he has no points over his head.
Cannot imagine it would be assessed more impact etc than Stevie's-it was nothing-let's let it go. If he gets time for that -seriously.

I agree, he shouldn't get time for that, nor should have SJ. I am talking speculatively about how the MRP might view it. In the end I assume also that he will get a reprimand, but it is hard to know how it will be adjudged as the MRP are so inconsistent.

Also Roughead hit him on the side which is deemed less serious. Stupid thing to do though. Hopefully his good record? gets him off.
On Fox Footy, a ' tribunal expert' said he would get off with his good record.
Not so for Maxwell.

He hit him from the side- he clearly struck him in the chest with a right hook. But body contact, intentional, low impact should see him early plea his way to the Prelim.

Arguably the most biased post of the year.

**** off. At no point have I said he should be suspended, just speculating on what is possible with the MRP. And the incident is more intentional than Johnson. There is no doubting that. Personally I hope he is not even cited - just as Johnson should not have been cited.

Personally I think both incidents are a free kick and nothing more. Or maybe at worst the AFL introducing a free kick and a fifty for such incidents.
But for you to say that "Johnson basically braced himself when Hannebery ran into his line" is just plain wrong.

It will be hard for it to not be classified as "intentional" because it was well behind the play and Dawes wouldn't have seen it coming because he came past from behind him.

Still soft for mine but he looks certain to be offered a reprimand at the very least.

That "down field" free kick would have been nice lol. In fact any free kick would have been nice with the few that went the other way for similar incidents.
Lol I was at the game and didn't know when it happened so I just assumed there was a free. Stupid by Roughead but like I said, no one shoud miss a final for that

hope the MRP let him off and Geelong get a crack at a near-full strength Hawthorn as we wanna beat them without any excuses!

Stevie J incident was a pathetic blight on the game and if they have any moral sense whatsoever...Roughead will have nothing to answer for.
If he goes for that, well....the game is in terrible trouble, if it isn't already slipping because of Fraser and his band of muppets!

Just a touch over confident like your players last night!!

The rest of your post I agree with completely.
