Surely a percentage of these pathetic ongoing "mistakes" are deliberate. I stopped buying the crowtiser a few years back because of its shocking bias in a couple of other subjects where they were constantly positive and/or empathetic to one side while being negative or downgrading to the other. Yet they never made anywhere near the mistakes with spelling and photos when reporting on these subjects, it seems to be reserved mainly for us and appears to be getting worse.

That would require a CEO with at least half a brain and a board with integrity, both of which it is quite obvious the Cows are lacking.

Sounds as if the Corporation is back to the days pre-Blight when a group of senior players ruled the club. Blight's first action as coach was to sack those players and the rest, as they say, is history.

Graham Cornes for one has spent the better part of the past month playing this down as a nothing incident, even going so far as to say the poor, innocent, naive Crows have been duped by the evil Kurt Tippett. Yes, this is all Kurt's fault apparently.

Either Cornes is really stupid, and is setting everyone up for a rude shock when the AFL finally hands down a punishment actually befitting the crime. Or he knows full well what's coming and is attempting to whip up a good dose of his usual "Victorian conspiracy" crap for when the shit eventually hits the fan. This going to be fun to watch.

i agree with you. the advertiser is aimed at the type of people who will find humour in spelling errors in Port Adelaide stories. they work on such a simple level that they will link the spelling error to our club even if it doesn't sound right to them. "hah.. port adelaide can't even get it right when they do get in the paper.." anything that makes us look bad makes us look bad to those people.

it's time we stop buying a paper that is not only not aimed as us but aimed at the enemy!!
