I have worried about this for far too long. Happy its getting to September and we can concentrate on winning a premiership and dare I say it....If he goes, he goes. I love Buddy and always will. If he stayed a hawk for life I think he'll go down as my favourite sportsmen of all time. If he goes I will still remember how good he was for 9 years at us. A second premiership and Ill feel better about him leaving, only one will hurt considering how promising our list is.

With all due respect LMH, you are hoping there are more people agreeing with you.
I still think it is a fairly even split. There is just way too much being read into what has gone on over the last few weeks.
As you yourself say, it is your intuition and you like all of us have no solid evidence that Buddy is or isn't staying. It is absolute garbage that a team he isn't even signed to would have him doing more media work just in preparation for what may lie ahead.

Where have I said it wasn't in his right, that it wasn't his choice or if its against the rules.......He has a history of signing his contracts early without any fanfare, He has stated he wants to concentrate on his football even though he has clearly admitted that its a distraction. The club is desperate to sign him and is moving heaven and earth to fit him in our salary cap with the biggest offer ever offered to a footballer at Hawthorn. Another club has allegedly hinted at an offer in the vicinity of 5 million dollars more for the term of his contract than the one offered by Hawthorn.

so i answered with what i said i will also add i doubt he will go to GWS for these reasons ! he hats the media he would have to just about be the face of GWS specially if they get that money of the AFL for him , he loves finals footy , he won't get that at GWS will he for a fair while and by the time they might get there he may have retired ! he LOVES BIG games , mmmm won't get that at GWS will he all these points Hodge said at a thing i went to yes in front of people but he said it was HIS opinion and that he was confident he would not go ! i believe Hodge and i also believe what Buddy has said about wanting to stay , yes others from OTHER CLUBS ! have said similar things and gone but that is them not Buddy !
